李建生，山西医科大学附属太原市中心医院消化科主任，兼任中华医学会消化病学分会心身疾病协作组委员；西部精神医学协会消化心身健康专业委员会副主任委员；山西省心身医学专业委员会副主任委员、消化病学组组长等。提出了：消化道动力问题的本质大多数是由心理因素引起；为了解决心因性疾病的诊治问题，必须建立“广义医学心理学”理论体系；明确心理因素的病因地位，建立“心因性消化病学”的概念，才能指导医学模式向“生物—心理”医学模式转变。为此，写了《建立“广义医学心理学”体系以推进医学模式的转变》、《心因性疾病及心因性消化病》等文章；参与编写了《中国消化心身健康问题处置理论和实践》等专著。
