About CNCC



         The China National Convention Center (CNCC)officially opened in October 2009 for its originally intended function – providing international standard, purpose-built convention and exhibition facilities. The Center was an important element in the overall plan for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games when it served as the main press center and international broadcasting location as well as providing the venue for the fencing and pistol shooting competitions. CNCC is ideally located in the heart of the Olympic Green adjacent to the National Stadium (Bird Nest), the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), and the National Indoor Stadium – all of which are proving popular places for people to visit in post Olympic Games times.
        The Centre covers an area of 120,000 square meter sand has floor space of 530,000 square meters, which makes it the largest convention center in Asia, at present.
        The conference will be held at the CNCC. It is the largest and most well funded center in China,and was rebuilt in 2009. It is a world-class convention center that has the ability to provide a variety of facilities for congresses, exhibits, and community activities, and it has its own hotel services.
        Hundreds of assembly rooms can accommodate 20,000 guests and the great hall can accommodate 6,000 persons. The kitchens can provide food service for over 10,000 persons at the same time. The main dining room can host banquets for 3,500 guests. The area of the exhibit space is 40,000m2.
        The hotel has 420 guest rooms, and is only a three-minute walk from the National Convention Center. The center is only a 30-minute drive from the airport. The center connects adjacent to the National Stadium (Bird Nest), the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube) and the National Indoor Stadium. It is only 30 minutes from the Beijing capital international airport and 8 km from Tian’anmen square.  It is very convenient to downtown, the Summer Place, the Old Summer Palace, the Great Wall, and the Ming Tombs. The 24Th World Congress on Psychosomatic Medicine will be successfully held at the National Convention Center.
